Welcome to the Peck Place School Music blog! I am thrilled to work with your students this year. As a graduate of the University of Connecticut and an elementary music educator for the past seven years, I have experience working with students of various backgrounds, ages, and proficiencies. I believe that all students should be endowed with musical experiences, allowing them to explore and to reap the educational benefits that music has to offer. Music enables students to create, think analytically, collaborate with peers, make decisions, develop discipline, and build self-esteem.
